"-Yes they are hubcentric, with a 57.1 centerbore
-Our wheels are designed to accept the OEM lugnuts, as well as the stock VW centercap
-We offer a 1 year warranty on the finish, as well as manufacturer defects in the wheel
-These wheels are manufactured in Taiwan; the quality is top notch. Each of our wheel designs / sizes go through extensive testing and are JWL and VIA certified; basically crash testing for wheels. The facility also produces OE wheels for car manufacturers in the US.
-We offer the 8.5" width for a few reasons. First, we want to be able to provide the most aggressive fitments without the possibility of clearance issues on stock ride height. Second, it keeps costs down for the consumer. Without getting too technical, each variation of a wheel design needs different tooling and molds, then go through a testing and certification process. For example, the equipment and certifications on a v710 18x8.5 would need to be completely redone for the v710 18x8.0. There would be no way we would be able to offer our wheels at our current pricing.
-The recommended tire size would be 225/40/18, and 225/35/19 for your car
We are a company that stands by our products. I know we're a fairly recent addition to VWvortex and it's hard to gauge the quality of both the products and ethics of the "new guy." The interesting thing about forums is that posts don't go away, feedback, customer service, quality of product is all out in the open for anybody to see. I would encourage you to do a bit of sleuthing on google of VMR, we have been around for over 5 years, and have built relationships with customers outside of vortex.
Hope this answers all your questions!

Saludos.
