New 2022 SUZUKI VITARA HYBRID 1.5 140V (Europe)

This is the new Suzuki Vitara Hybrid 1.5 140V.
It is only available with the new AGS robotized automatic transmission, both with front-wheel drive and 4x4 AllGrip drive, and is offered in the only exclusive Starview trim.
The total power of the 1.5 liter petrol engine is 102hp, while the total system power, in combination with the electric motor generator, reaches 115hp.
The new AGS gearbox with sequential function is positioned between the clutch and the electric motor generator, with which it works in perfect harmony. The electric unit takes care of making the changes from one gear to another, whether automatic or manual, by modulating the clutch independently.
The new hybrid module consists of two main elements: a 140V battery and a 24.6 kW motor generator.
The battery has a total capacity of 840Wh and is housed together with all its subsystems in the double bottom of the boot, thus maintaining its volume unchanged.
When starting and maneuvering at low speed, the hybrid system moves the new VITARA HYBRID with electric drive only. With a fully charged battery, you can reach 80 km / h in electric mode or cover a distance of up to 4.5 km.
When a sufficient speed is reached, the electric motor leaves room for the thermal one.
During the most intense decelerations, the motorgenerator provides regenerative braking and charges the 140V battery, an operation that sometimes carries out if necessary, even at constant speed, using some of the power from the thermal engine.
To move more easily off the asphalt, this version can be equipped with 4x4 AllGrip Select four-wheel drive, which takes advantage of the more than fifty years of experience gained by Suzuki in the field of 4x4. By acting on a practical control on the central tunnel, the driver can select four different modes: Auto, Sport, Snow and Lock. Each of them distributes the torque between the two axles, according to different logics, to offer ideal traction in every situation and to ensure maximum fun and safety, with always low fuel consumption and emissions.
The Starview trim comes equipped with Heated seats covered in high-quality material, Parking sensors front and rear, 17 inch bicolor alloy wheels, and 7 inch infotainment touch screen with navigation, bluetooth, Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity.
The new VITARA HYBRID has a starting price of 30,400 Euro for the 2 wheel drive version, and 32,900 Euro for the 4x4 version .
