This video is a fresh start with new audio, new video and 2 of my newest and most favorite vehicles. We receive our brand new, out of the box 2022 Porsche 992 GT3 and within the first 100 miles we have to lower it and put our touch on it. While we do this, our AMG GT Black Series gets a quick review and I tell you what I like and don't like about both cars and their special features. I hope you like the video! Una bestia radical que ha sido capaz de pulverizar el récord en el circuito de Nürburgring y rebajarlo en 17 segundos.

Ha habido mucho trabajo en aerodinámica como el alerón trasero (tipo 'swan neck', es decir, 'cuello de cisne') que procede del RSR, al igual que el difusor trasero.

Mantiene el bóxer de seis cilindros y cuatro litros, aunque ha evolucionado a partir del set up que tiene el GT3 R de carreras. Este bloque permite subir hasta las 9.000 rpm (el cuentavueltas está tarado a 10.000 vueltas)

Even though the Ferrari F40 was a real privilege to see going around the track, the highlight was definitely seeing @Philmorrisondw from @Driftworks full sending his brand new 992 GT3 sliding it about! Fair play to you Phil! Was amazing to see one being used properly

¿Alguna vez has soñado con ganar Le Mans? ¿Qué tal tener un Porsche 911 GT3 con una decoración personalizada? Bueno, el veterano piloto de carreras italiano y empresario Paolo Barilla ha hecho ambas cosas con estilo. Primero, ganó Le Mans en 1985 al volante de un auto de carreras Porsche 956 privado , y ahora compró un magnífico Porsche 911 GT3 con una decoración a juego.

El automóvil fue creado por Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur iniciando el programa Sonderwunsch. Paolo Barilla, que quería el GT3 como regalo para su 60 cumpleaños, estuvo muy involucrado en el proceso de diseño. De hecho, además de las “consultas frecuentes” y las visitas a la sede de Porsche, el cliente incluso brindó la caja de cambios al motor de su automóvil mediante un dispositivo de tornillo con control de par.



La librea personalizada combina la pintura Summer Yellow con detalles en blanco y una cola negra. El número 7 se asienta con orgullo en el capó y las puertas, al igual que en el coche de carreras original. Otros detalles incluyen el faldón delantero y los anillos de los faros en amarillo verano y las placas laterales más grandes en el alerón trasero que se probaron en el túnel aerodinámico.

Las llantas no coincidentes se ven bastante geniales con un acabado blanco en el eje delantero y dorado en la parte trasera. Por último, pero no menos importante, hay una placa en el pilar B con la firma del propietario y la bandera italiana.

En el interior hay protectores de entrada de puerta personalizados como un guiño al 956, un logotipo especial de Le Mans 1985 en los reposacabezas con el contorno de la pista en amarillo contrastante y una hermosa perilla de cambio personalizada de aluminio.



El proyecto tomó tres años desde el primer boceto hasta el producto terminado, con el desarrollo comenzando en la generación anterior GT3 (991.2) y terminando en el último modelo (992) . Grant Larson, un diseñador de Porsche desde hace mucho tiempo, dijo que el mayor desafío era transferir los gráficos de las superficies planas del 956 a las formas redondeadas del 992.

Paolo Barilla, quien ahora es vicepresidente de una compañía de comida italiana muy famosa, dijo: “En los años ochenta, tuve la oportunidad de conducir el maravilloso Porsche 956, un automóvil icónico en términos de rendimiento y belleza. Have you ever dreamed of winning Le Mans? What about owning a Porsche 911 GT3 with a custom livery? Well, Italian racing driver veteran and entrepreneur Paolo Barilla has done both in style. First, he won Le Mans in 1985 behind the wheel of a private Porsche 956 racecar, and now he bought a gorgeous Porsche 911 GT3 with a matching livery.

The car was created by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur initiating the Sonderwunsch program. Paolo Barilla who wanted the GT3 as a gift for his 60th birthday was heavily involved with the design process. In fact, besides the “frequent consultations” and visits to Porsche’s headquarters, the customer even flanged the gearbox to the engine in his car using a torque-controlled screw device.

The custom livery combines the Summer Yellow paint with white accents and a black tail. The number 7 proudly sits on the bonnet and the doors, just like in the original racecar. Other details include the front apron and headlight rings in Summer yellow and the larger side plates on the rear wing which were tested in the aero tunnel.

The mismatched rims look quite cool with a white finish on the front axle and gold on the rear. Last but not least there is a plate on the B-pillar with the owner’s signature and the Italian flag.

Inside there are custom door entry guards as a nod to the 956, a special Le Mans 1985 logo on the headrests with the outline of the track in contrasting yellow, and a beautiful custom gear knob from aluminum.

The project took three years from first sketch to finished product, with development starting on the previous generation GT3 (991.2) and finishing off on the latest model (992). Grant Larson, a long-time Porsche designer, said that the biggest challenge was to transfer the graphics from the flat surfaces of the 956 to the rounded shapes of the 992.

Paolo Barilla, who is now deputy chairman of a very famous Italian food company said: “In the Eighties, I had the chance to drive the wonderful Porsche 956, an iconic car in terms of performance and beauty, The interpretation of some elements in a modern GT3 makes that memory exciting and vital – for me and for people who are close to me”.
