This particular example is finished in beautiful Navarra Violet metallic, and it touts some great factory equipment, like a set of attractive 16-inch BMW Style 4 wheels, heated front and rear seats, and xenon headlights. It's also mostly unmodified – and it boasts some recent reported service and a clean, accident-free Carfax report. Plus, it's offered with the added excitement of no reserve. Highlights THIS… is a 1997 BMW 750iL, finished in Navarra Violet Metallic with a Lavender Grey interior. This 750iL is a Canadian-market example that was originally purchased in Ontario, Canada, and later imported into the United States in 1998. The attached Carfax vehicle history report contains a gap from 1998 to 2001, though it shows no accidents or mileage discrepancies for the given time period. According to the build sheet provided in the gallery, factory equipment includes 16-inch alloy wheels, self-leveling rear suspension, xenon headlights, Dynamic Stability Control, insulated dual-pane window glass, leather upholstery, a HiFi sound system, and more as detailed below. Modifications mentioned by the seller are limited to an "E65" fan clutch and a set of factory E38 "face lift" chrome headlight housings. Sold from 1995 to 2001, the third-generation 7 Series (called E38 internally) retired as BMW's best-selling flagship sedan to date. Short- and long-wheelbase variants of the E38 were offered, but the V12-powered 750iL was only available in the latter configuration. BMW charged $91,100 for the 750iL in 1997, which represents about $167,370 in 2022. Power comes from a 5.4-liter V12, rated at 322 horsepower and 361 lb-ft of torque. It spins the rear wheels via a 5-speed automatic transmission.
